ISO 22000:2018 is an international standard that sets the requirements for a food safety management system for organizations operating in the food chain industry, in order to demonstrate their ability to control hazards and to ensure food safety.

It was published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and incorporates the requirements of HACCP, the requirements of the prerequisites (PRP's and OPRP's), the requirements of current legislation and the general principles of management systems.
