BQC, supporting the country’s tourism businesses and understanding their need to ensure the maximum degree of operational readiness in the new health protocols they are required to implement, is organizing a training program specifically designed to address the Covid-19 crisis on the topic: Covid-19 protection and safety measures for tourist accommodations, thus covering the requirement to demonstrate that staff are trained in adhering to the protocol or individual protocols per section of the accommodation.

In this training program, consulting is provided by Mr. Konstantinos Delezo, Professor of Hygiene and Lecturer at the University of West Attica, with vast experience in the field, postgraduate specialization in Occupational Health and Safety, Certified Trainer of EOPPEP, EFET, LAEK OAED, collaborator in education issues of EVEA, Professional Chamber of Athens, ESEE & GSEVEE and Hygiene Advisor of the Professional Chamber of Athens.

The teaching methods used include lectures, practical exercises and group collaboration.

In this context, participants are asked to complete group and individual exercises and assignments, as well as Role playing exercises, which aim to develop their skills (time management, team spirit, collaboration).

At the end, an evaluation test and a satisfaction questionnaire are distributed to participants in order to evaluate the results of their training and the achievement of its objectives.

  • Adherence to basic measures to avoid transmission of the virus regarding diligent and regular hand washing, avoiding handshakes, maintaining distance, avoiding contact with eyes, nose and mouth and respiratory hygiene
  • Maintaining training records and documentation of recruitment for each employee
  • Information on the responsibilities of hotel staff in the event of a case, whether among staff or among customers
