ISO/IEC 17020:2012 Training Program – Standard Requirements / Internal Auditors

Program Duration: 3 days

Inspection bodies carry out assessments on behalf of individuals, clients or authorities, with the objective of providing information on the compliance of the audited with regulations, standards, specifications, inspection schemes or contracts.

Inspection parameters include issues of quantity, quality, safety, suitability for use and continued compliance with regard to the safety in operation of facilities or systems.

The general requirements with which inspection bodies must comply, so that their services are acceptable to clients and supervisory authorities, are harmonized with this International Standard.

This International Standard constitutes the basis for the assessment and accreditation of inspection bodies and essentially sets the framework for the organization and operation of these bodies. It sets out specific requirements for the organization, the technical qualifications of the auditors, and the assurance of their independence and impartiality.
