ISO 21001:2018 Training Program – Management System for Educational Organizations – Basic Requirements

ISO 21001 gives organizations that provide educational “products” and services a management tool that is capable of satisfying the needs and requirements of learners and other customers.

It is a standard that can be applied alone or in parallel with others, as it is fully harmonized with other ISO management system standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001) having adopted the High Level Structure (HLS).

Program Duration: 1 day

The purpose of the training program is to present the requirements of the ISO 21001:2018 standard. Knowledge is becoming a key factor for successful business management around the world and education is increasingly considered as a business-oriented service.

The growing economic importance of learning in the global knowledge society has created new economic opportunities, such as the activity generated by the provision of private learning services.

Therefore, quality assurance is becoming a critical issue. The ISO 21001:2018 Standard focuses on the interactions between the educational organization, the learner, customers and other interested parties. It specifies requirements for a Learning Management System (LMS), where this organization:

Wants to demonstrate its ability to provide, share and produce knowledge, while complying with applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.
Aims to increase the satisfaction of learners, other customers and staff through the effective implementation of the LMS, including processes for continuous improvement of the system.

The teaching methods used include lectures, practical exercises and group collaboration.

In this context, participants are asked to complete group and individual exercises and assignments, as well as Role playing exercises, which aim to develop their skills (time management, team spirit, collaboration).

At the end, an evaluation test and a satisfaction questionnaire are distributed to participants in order to evaluate the results of their training and the achievement of its objectives.
