Information

Nowadays, lifting systems constitute a subcategory of the broader sector of transport systems, which find application and use in a multitude of productive activities, such as in industry, in all kinds of constructions, in port facilities, in transport, etc.

Program Duration: 3 days

Lifting systems constitute one of the most complex mechanical or electromechanical devices. This is because they consist of a series of multiple mechanisms, which include a wide range of machine elements, iron structures and electrical devices.

The term lifting machine includes: overhead cranes, forklifts, basket vehicles, crane vehicles (self-propelled & construction cranes), winches on rails, two-post & four-post workshop lifts, etc.

This training program presents the requirements of the Greek Legislation (Government Gazette 1186 B/25.08.2003) “on the qualifications of persons carrying out inspections and on the Training of Lifting Machinery Inspectors”.

The purpose of the training program is to provide participants with a multifaceted theoretical training in the Lifting Machinery Inspection Sector.
