Nowadays, lifting machines constitute a subcategory of the broader sector of transport systems that find application and use in a multitude of productive activities, such as in industry, in all kinds of constructions, in port facilities, in transport, etc., being one of the most complex mechanical or electromechanical devices because they consist of a series of multiple mechanisms, which include a wide range of machine elements, iron structures and electrical devices.

Lifting machinse include: overhead cranes, forklifts, basket vehicles, crane vehicles (self – propelled and construction cranes), winches on rails, two – post and four – post workshop lifts, etc.

This training course presents the requirements of the greek Legislation (Government Gazette 1186 B/25.08.2003): concerning qualifications of persons carrying out audits and concerning training of Lifting Equipment auditors) aiming to provide the participants with a multifaceted theoretical training in the Lifting Machinery audit sector.

The training methodology includes lectures, practice and teamwork.

In this context, the participants are asked to carry out group and individual exercises, role playing exercises, and evaluation tests that aim to develop their skills (time management, teamwork, cooperation).

In the end, a satisfaction questionnaire is distributed to the participants in order to evaluate the results of their training and the achievement of its objectives.
