The industrial sector is a source of many different risks for the health and safety of workers.
For this reason, European and Greek legislation has established laws and directives that stipulate mandatory periodic inspections of the proper functioning of certain categories of machinery. The main ones are:
In addition, there are technicians – engineers who (based on specified criteria) inspect and certify the proper functioning of the above machinery (in one or more types). These are called “Industrial Inspectors”.
Program Duration: 4 days
The main objective of the program is the introductory training of technicians and engineers in the issues of machinery inspections and the contribution to the reduction of occupational accidents that occur in industry, due to inadequate maintenance and unscheduled inspection of machinery.
Participants are trained in the subject of industrial inspections of machinery (Lifts – Pressure Vessels – Elevators – Escalators). The provisions of European and national legislation are briefly presented, regarding the inspections of the above types of machinery (types and periodicity of inspections, inspection points, qualifications of inspectors).
This training directly contributes to the reduction of risks that occur during work in any type of industrial work environment, where the above types of machinery operate.
