Information

Forklifts are, by common admission, the most commonly used lifting machines and, furthermore, valuable tools that find application and use in a multitude of productive activities, such as in industry, in all kinds of construction, in port facilities, in transport, etc., therefore there is a need to acquire knowledge concerning, on the one hand, their safe use in the workplace and, on the other hand, the basic mechanical elements that the operator needs to know.

It is internationally required that their use must be carried out by trained (in most EU countries) licensed operators, in order to avoid accidents caused by misuse and inadequate training.

Following the issuance of the new Government Gazette 3350B 12-6-2024 Y.A. 46557-2024, based on which the requirements for the exercise of professional activity of operating construction machinery with a total engine power of more than ten (10) kw and a maximum lifting capacity of up to two thousand five hundred (2,500) kgr are defined, BQC designed a new vocational training course, fully aligned with the new regulatory requirements.

After the completion of the training course, the participants will have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills to handle the following:

  • Safe operation
  • Loading and unloading in accordance with all safety rules, both for the operator himself and for those working in the same area
  • Use based on the principles of the Highway Code in workplaces
  • Safe maneuvering with proper road behavior

They will also have acquired necessary basic technical knowledge regarding:

  • Operating principles of internal combustion engines
  • Supply systems
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Tires and wear
